Tiwa Savage and Wizkid are working on a song that will be on her third studio album which will be released before the end of the year.
After successfully selling out the Indigo at the O2 Arena in London with her first headline event in the UK, it seems Tiwa Savage is set to release her third body of work before the end of the year.
In a recent interview, the singer poked on the possibilities of the album and her collaboration with Wizkid.
On her third studio album she said,
”I think I’m going to drop my third album this year. I dropped an EP ‘Sugar Cane’ last year and I think its time for another album. And I have a lot of songs and material that I don’t want to go to waste.
”So, I think I’m going to drop an album this year. I am trying not to put too many featured artists on it because I did with my last album. I want to try and keep it just me and be more daring music wise, be bolder,” she said.
Tiwa and Wizkid have become the ‘power couple’ of the music industry, even though Tiwa denies that there is more to their friendship, she confirmed that after collaborating on ‘Malo’ they had already teamed up on more songs.
”You can definitely expect new music from us [together]. We’ve recorded a lot and we’re just waiting for the right time (to release it).
”I know he’s working on his album and I’ve just decided that I want to put out an album. So, we’re just waiting for the right time to feed the public. Because whenever we put out music it gets so much attention.
”But trust me, we have ‘Ma Lo’ x200 percent. We have great music that we’ve recorded that’s coming soon” she added.
We can’t wait to hear what Mama Jam Jam and Wizzy have in store for their teeming fans.
